I don't think we should limit ourselves to just one base each - for some games I'd like to be able to move around the forest and creatre ambushes as well as simply have the brisge as a base, plus we might change the teams a bit as we were comprehensively beaten last time...

I've seen a quadruple post. But anyway, we don't need electricity for cooking, at some point I would like to get a barbecue down there to cook meat and the like.
I agree about the bases, there shouldn't be any bases which belong to one team. The teams aren't set in stone, and we're going to swap round a bit for next time. However, we will probably have a few people from each team go and make a base each, so it is fair, and there aren't any secret features. Also, we don't want them to be fortresses, just defensive positions.

well i aint been on this forumin ages and i just spent ages reading all the new poop, well i spose i kinda agree with the idea of the all day and not the sleep overs
but u aint thought on how difficult it is for people getting there cos it is so early in the morning and the distance for people who live far away to get there that early, and i dont know about anyone else but the fact of getting driven that early as my dad cant due to private reasons(some people may no y e.g. phil and big p)nor my mum cos she goes to work earlier.

Alright Chris, I've taken your point into consideration. The fights will most likely be on Saturdays; does your mum work then? We can always make it 10AM, if that's any better. That's the time you would be expected to arrive at anything.

Aye it does look slightly brighter, however as you said this is not the right thread for this sort of discussion!

Yes, I swapped the old pattern for this one. It is Soldier 95. I think the previous one was older, so we are a bit more up to date now. I think it looks better, the old one was too dark and made the site look gloomy. I'll see what people think. Yeah I know this isn't the right section, but I'm an admin and I can post where I want.
