These are the new in game rules I was talking about. They aren't "obey or die" rules like the other ones, just some new ways of playing and I couldn't think of a better word.
Players can take two hits anywhere on the body (one on the head?). When he has been hit twice, the player must call himself out, then lie/slump down. The player is now "injured". He cannot fire any weapon, but may call for a medic or radio for one.
If a medic on his team gets to him, he may heal the injured player. To do this the medic must "heal" him in some way, such as injecting him with adrenaline, wrapping a bandage around him or defribulating him (all of these are only in pretense, of course.)
If a non medic on the same team reaches the injured player, he may carry or drag him to safety (only with consent, of course), or to a medic where he may be healed.
However, if an enemy player reaches the injured man first, then the enemy may shoot him on the ground, or take him as a P.O.W. and carry or drag (with consent) back to their base, where the enemy may hold him as hostage and interrogate him, or execute him if they wish (using the bang rule). If they choose to execute him, then the player must make his way to the dead zone.
Additional notes
If a player is taken prisoner by the enemy, then they are healed on arriving at the enemy base. He may try to escape, but he risks being shot.
If the player does not wish/is too fat to be carried or dragged, then he may be escorted as long as the escort keeps at least one hand on him at all times. He may not move unless he has an escort.
If a player surrenders, the enemy may either take him prisoner, or execute him using the bang rule. If they take him prisoner, they must escort him to their base. He can walk freely, but risks being shot if he tries to escape. If the enemy keep at least one hand on him, then he may not attempt to escape.
A captured player may be disarmed, and the weapon may be used against his team (only with his permission!) The enemy may do just about anything they wish to the captured player, short of causing him major physical pain.
It is in both teams' best interests to keep the captured player(s) alive, as it is the friendly team's responsibility to ensure he does not die, and is a valuable bargaining chip to the enemy team.
I think that's all, thanks for reading.
Obviously, if you have any queries, problems or suggestions, please post them in the thread, but don't spam it up. These rules are designed to provide longer, more realistic games whilst still being fun (if not more so, I might add!)
